In the Christmas Carol, Ebeneezer Scrooge had always hated Christmas. He was never happy, he would always argue about something. Until one night that changed everything including his emotions, feelings, and life. He became a very sweet old man. Scrooge is officially an old man that loves Christmas.
A Christmas Carol was written by Charles Dickens. The story is about a character named Ebenezer Scrooge. All he cared about was money and himself. He changes throughout the story with the help of three ghosts. Scrooge made a substantial amount of changes.
Did Scrooge only change because his life was on the line, did the Grinch's heart really grow two sizes? You surely would have heard the story of the Grinch and A Christmas carol, but out of the two, who changed more? They were both mean and cruel to everyone, but both of them changed into better people with the help of others and the circumstances they were put in. But again, who had the most character development?

The Ghost of Christmas Past, The Ghost of Christmas Present, and the Ghost of the Future are all similar because of their main motive, to change Scrooge. For example, Scrooge says “ Remove me! I cannot bear it.” The Ghost of Christmas Past had shown memories that were haunting Scrooge, which Scrooge had tried to forget them in the past.
In Charles Dickens's famous novel, A. Christmas Carol, Ebenezer Scrooge is visited be three spirits, to show him his life then, now, and later. At the end of the story, he is visited from the ghost of Christmas Yet To Come, and the ghost has took Ebenezer into the future to a view of his own gravestone. When Ebenezer has gotten to his gravestone he says, "Men's courses will foreshadow certain ends, to which, if persevered in, they must lead. But if the courses be departed from, the ends will change. Say it is thus with what you show me."
At the beginning of A Christmas Carol,Scrooge is mean,selfish,and greedy. He is mean, because on pg.9, he never donates to the poor,and he always yells at little kids. Scrooge is also selfish because on pg.12, he never pays a day wages for no work. They say “it's a poor excuse for picking a man’s pocket every twenty-fifth of december!”Also,another word is he is greedy,on pg.17, says he is caustic and cold as ever and never gave anything to anyone. He said “what do you want with me.

In the novel A Christmas Carol written by Charles Dickens, we are introduced to a grumpy old stingy character named Ebenezer Scrooge. Scrooge is visited by the three spirits of Christmas and undergoes a change of heart. The spirits visit him during his sleep and he goes on journeys through time, I think this is all part Ebenezer’s mind. Scrooge is depressed and is a schizophrenic, a person who has severe mental condition that interferes with the normal thought process, causing delusions, hallucinations, and mental disorganization. Through his schizophrenia he goes through periods of time with the “spirits”.
This play was about how Ebenezer Scrooge lived a full life of regrets and sorrow, because of his foolish and unkind love for money. Toward the end of his life he revisits painful memories and lost opportunities of love and kindness! By looking over some of his mean times he is regretting them, and becoming a changed man!
