There are very few characters in “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens, which is why one character stood out to me. That characters name is Ebenezer Scrooge. Though there are very few characters, it was still challenging to figure out Scrooge's personality because of all of the changing moods and themes throughout the book.
In the beginning of the book, Scrooge was a very cold-hearted man. The author (Charles Dickens) even states that he was so cold inside that it affected the way he looked.
