Costumes also determine gender, feelings, and nationality. They can also help to explain how the character feels and shows how they act. Sometimes they will tell you the wrong thing. His costumes tell the theme of the characters. In the halloween section, the costumes are dark ,have no color, and they look poorly made. The girl ,Sally, in this film has pieced together clothes and her face looks like it has been broken, so she sewed it back together. When Sally fell out of the window she broke her leg, so she pulled out a needle and thread, and sewed it back on.The only time the characters are colorful, is when Jack becomes Santa. Everybody in Halloween Town wears dark clothes. In the Christmas section the colors are bright and cheerful.
