Everywhere Winston goes, the party keeps a close eye on him. The party controls everything in Oceania, their rules are not fair. If you think of rebellious thoughts or ideas, it’s illegal. Winston works in the Ministry of Truth this is where he meets Julia. Julia and Winston move in with O’Brien, who is a party member. He assures Julia and Winston that he is with them and that he to hates the party. But O’Brien actually lied to them. O’Brien tortures and brainwashes Winston for months. Winston has recurring nightmares, he wants the nightmares to stop happening to him so he pleads to O’Brien to make them happen to Julia.
