The September 11, attacks changed film in the early 2000s. After the attacks a lot of films had to be edited to remove the Worlds Trade Center out of scenes. In some films, like 'Leno and Stitch' they removed a plane that was flying dangerously. Hollywood didn’t want to have viewers reminded about the attacks. It also made films more serious by focusing about the war on terror. Many film in the 2000s were surrounded by the aftermath of the 911 attacks. Just a few of these films include 'Zero Dark Thirty', 'Fahrenheit 911', and '911'.
