HOW WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY HAS CHANGED OVER YEARS
A wedding is a ceremony which unites two people together for a lifetime. The traditions and custom of this event varies in different cultures, religions and countries. But all of the couples focus greatly on capturing there lifetime moments in a way so they will cherish these golden moments later.
From last 10 to 15 years, wedding photography has taken a new dimension in Pakistan. Previously only film roles were used; photographers were bound to take less number of photos due to limitation issues. They used to burn every image into a single piece of film with full care. Now the photographers are more concerned in not only capturing the event but also all the tiny details of the event are not left unnoticed. Every single detail of bride’s dress to the wedding cake, everything comes in the limelight. These are the small details which couples really get to let their personalities show.
Previously all the pictures were pasted on the wedding albums. After a month or so, people forget about them after placing them in their cupboards. But now there is a trend to post all the pictures online in social media website by both the photographer and the couple. Couples get comments from their loved ones and cherish those moments again. This exposure on social media also helps photographers to get acknowledge by other people too.
This recent trend has made brides further attentive regarding their event as each bride to be have access to every expensive photographer work through their pages on social media. In the past they have access to their local wedding magazines but now they are taking each and every idea about their dress, hairstyle, and makeup from online sources. They have planned prior to the event about theme of their wedding and all the styles of photographs they want their photographer to capture.
