Braden Kurbin ELA 1 Miss Sullivan 2/21/23 TSB Character Analysis Draft Touching Spirit Bear by Ben Mikaelsen is a book about a teenager named Cole Matthews, and bis journey of healing. Throughout his life, Cole has been a very violent and angry person because of the abuse he has suffered from his dad. In the beginning of the book, Cole gets into a fight with a boy named peter Driscoll. The fight ends in Peter having to be hospitalized to receive treatment for his injuries, and Cole being put into a program called Circle Justice. Circle Justice is a program that sends Cole to an Alaskan island to go through a spiritual journey to heal.
In music, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Buddy Holly and Marvin Gaye were the most prolific people on the world stage. Marlon Brando, James Dean and Marilyn Monroe ruled the cinematic stage. However, the major highlight of this era was the dawn of technologies involvement in our life. Radio, television and all electronics in general no longer became wants but needs. Once somebody owned one they were aware of everything happening around them, knew what’s hot and what’s not and could be easily persuaded to buy the newest vacuum cleaner model or dress from the shops.

Allen (2013) agreed by stating that music streaming has changed the view of people in the industry of music. For example, popular music streaming services such as Spotify and Pandora and a number of new music streaming applications provide the easiest way for listeners to enjoy music freely without having to do illegal downloading or buying a CD. Likewise, Listeners have the ability to choose the music they want to listen.
