In the late 1950’s the world changed people were the total opposite of themselves. People who were nice turned mean, the police instead of stopping crime they were the crime. There was a big blast when this happened I was in my family’s cellar at the time of the explosion. When I went up stairs I saw horror I saw people coming up from the ground and my mom was changed instead of being nice she was mean as a snake. When I looked outside I saw policemen robbing houses. I ran in the attic after that and out the window out there i saw 4 or 5 men staring right me. After think of what happened I figured out the blast must have had some sort of chemical in it to change people's minds completely. Right after he was done talking we heard the door break down so we went to investigate and it was the same men who were staring at me through the window in my attic. I quickly made a plan of escape we decided to go out the window behind us before they found us. When we got out safely we heard people talking they were saying stuff like “I don't know where they went” one of them said another said “You better find them or this plan isn't going to work”. When we heard that we got scared no worse than scared we were terrified of what was going to happen. I think we both knew why they wanted us because we were the only ones not harmed by the blast. We needed to find an antidote for this thing that happened. While i went to find a place to stay hidden Justin went to go scavenge for food. When he came back he said there was no one at the market getting anything at all there was even any workers or electricity. The next day we decided to follow those people who were trying to get
