Boxer is a hardworking, loyal, and strong character in the book Animal Farm. However, this doesn't matter because, even though he is all of these things, he gets treated horribly and he is a tragic character. In the book Animal Farm, it is based on the Russian Revolution. There is a character named Napoleon. Napoleon claiming they will take over the humans. At the beginning of the book, the animals claim they will not be like the people they're rebelling against. But, throughout the book, the pigs become more and more like the humans. Despite the pig’s corruption of Animal Farm, Boxer is loyal, hard working, and generous.

In the book Animal Farm, the character Boxer is loyal because everything he does is for the farm. The book states,“Boxer was the admiration of everybody. There were days when the entire work of the farm seemed to rest on his mighty shoulders. From morning to night he was pushing and pulling, always at the spot where the work was the hardest.” (51, Orwell) …show more content…

In the book it proves that he is hardworking because it states,
“Boxer’s split hoof took a long time in healing. They had started the rebuilding of the windmill the day after the victory celebrations ended. Boxer refused to take even a day off work.” (143, Orwell) This shows no matter how much he is in pain, he is always working to finish what he started. All of this proves that Boxer is hardworking because throughout the whole book he works so much to the point he is injured.

In the book Animal Farm Boxer is generous because he is always kind to the animals, and never he never lets them down. In the book it proves he is generous because in the book it states, ''I Will Work Harder'' Throughout the whole book Boxer is always saying this because is working for the farm even though it is not even becoming free anymore.
