Buddhism's Allure in Today’s World Suffering is a bond all humans share; it’s something that everyone understands and can comprehend. Buddhism teaches that birth, rebirth, and death are all a continuing part of the process of change and suffering. Recognized as one of the biggest religions in the world, Buddhism is a religion that leads more to spiritualism rather than religious beliefs. Created by Buddha, one must achieve nirvana, through meditation and ethical living. Through manmade needs and wants, Buddhists believe that suffering is inevitable. Buddhism is growing rapidly around the world; there are Buddhist temples in many European countries, North America, South America, South Africa, Australia, and so on. Buddhism appeals very much to the modern world due to its reasonable and scientifically based ideologies. Buddha once said, "Do not believe in anything that I say just out of respect for me, but test it for yourself, analyze it, as if you were buying gold." According to StudyBuddhism.com, there are a variety of different things that people find attractive and appealing, all of them come from the wish to find peace using Buddhism methods that will help us to conquer our problems in life and overcome our suffering. Regardless of what draws us to find some way of dealing with life, what is so wonderful about Buddhism's teachings is that it actually offers us methods to follow that are intended to help us to overcome our everyday problems. Two and a half thousand years of practice, and there are still people who practice it and see results. It’s just a matter of actually following the said methods; it’s all laid out. And not just one method, but many different types of methods to achieve inner peace. Buddha taught multiple methods because everyone suffers in different ways and different people find different methods more useful. This is something that people find very wonderful, because within all the different Buddhist methods, people can usually find something that suits them; and if we try one thing and it doesn’t suit us, there are many other methods that are
