How Is Eva Gruwell A Dynamic Character

If you met someone so unexpectedly powerful that change some’s life? In the movie of “Freedom Writer”, two characters did not understand each other. Eva is dynamic character, Ms. Gruwell is static character. They face intolerance because of judging a character by its cover. The character Eva develop the theme by her skin color in the movie. At beginning, Eva facing racism, in the text, it said, “it is all about color, it is about people deciding what you deserve, about people wanting what they do not deserve.” “About whites thinking they own this world.” This tells Eva’s mind in white people has the privilege to do everything that they want. During the middle of the movie, Ms. Gruwell always treat students equally, and Eva starts to like her. At the end of the movie, Eva hopes Ms. Gruwell becomes her junior teacher. The character Ms. Gruwell develop the theme by classroom studies. She let her students writing diary in class to make them express out their feelings. Beside this in the text, it said, “Does anyone know the Homer’s the Odyssey?’’ This tells Ms. Gruwell trying to teach students to deal with stereotypical, and let them know not all white people classify colored race. Gruwell is they both broke up the family. Eva’s father was send into the jail because of the race. In the text, it said, “I saw white cops come into my house and take my father away for no reason except they felt like it.” Ms. Gruwell and her husband divorce, because her husband does not support her continue teaching. Therefore, they both ended up in divorce. In the text, it said, “you think you should stay with them?” Or is it better they move on?” The difference is Eva is a dynamic character. She is impertinent at beginning, at the end she becomes altruistic, and gets along with her peers. Ms. Gruwell is a static character, she always treats her students with respect. She is gratified that her students started to like
