At the young age of 21, George Washington was just beginning his experience within the military. He was sent out with an Indian scout to spy on the French and gather what information could be useful to win the battle against them. Washington found the troops in a cavern drinking. He learned a very valuable lesson that night. He learned that distraction is the key to success. By the heavy drinking, the French had no recollection that there was a British spy among them.
