In Gris Grimly's Frankenstein, Victor dies at the end of the book because of all the stress and unhappiness that a creature he birthed in his laboratory caused him. This creature had a big impact on Victor's life and went on to do good and terrible things. For several reasons, I believe Victor Frankenstein's creature is human. The creature is human because he has feelings and emotions, just like a regular person. In his second encounter with Victor, the creature says that his "soul glowed with love and humanity" (Frankenstein,83).
Everybody knows the classic tale of Bram Stoker’s Dracula. It is most famous for its introduction of the character of Count Dracula into both deep-rooted and contemporary literature and media. One critic claimed,” Bram Stoker set the ground rules for what a vampire should be.” It follows the story of Jonathan Harker, an English solicitor who visits Count Dracula in his castle in Transylvania – soon realising that he is being kept as a prisoner. Dracula forms a liking to the character of Lucy which ultimately leads to her death.

Slowly however, she begins to realize that Rufus is her relative, and he must bear a child with a slave girl named Alice for her bloodline to continue. Rufus does not realize this, but he does know that Dana is sent back to save his life, and he realizes that he needs her for this, but yet never fully respects her. As Rufus ages, he rapes Alice and is almost killed by her husband when he is caught, and Dana is sent back to save him. Finally, Rufus does have a child with Alice, only because Dana pushed her into being with him.

What it Means to be Human Defining what it means to be human isn’t something you often think about. In the Judenrat activity, I was put in a foreign, but a very real situation.
