How Is Ivan So Different Now

Ivan is so different now. The contagious smile that used to always bloom on his face is replaced by a menacing sneer that spreads fear. The hope and sincerity that used to fill his eyes has vanished and is replaced by emptiness. I remember when we used to be best friends. He always managed to cheer me up with his humour. The memories of us laughing together still bring me a small sense of happiness. And the day he turned away from me and let his alter ego take over is a nightmare that still haunts me to this day. I still tear up because of it despite it being five years after that.

But the past is in the past. People change, unfortunately so. I still have to fight Ivan to prevent countless innocent lives from being attacked. I can not believe that the sweet, caring Ivan I used to know, now desires selfish power over the whole of mankind.

Tigris is so different now. The shy little girl I used to know is now a fierce warrior trying to kill me. How times have changed. The innocence that used to fill her eyes has disappeared and is now replaced with courage, determination and hope, that soon will be crushed. It is true that we used to be close but she left me without reason after all that I have done for her and that is an unforgivable crime that I can never forgive nor forget.

She is just like the rest: keeping people that may be of use and leaving them when they are not of use anymore. This world is full of people like her. And after she left me, I realised that not even the nicest of people can be trusted. Manipulation is a skill every human uses. I made a good choice to work alone. Killing people that have done wrong is my mission and I will do whatever it takes for justice. Its a shame that everyone thinks I am just power-hungry. It is not my fault that every human has
