Macbeth and Lady Macbeth changed throughout the play and the way they acted. At one point they are doing and thanking one thing and later on they are thanking something completely different of what that started thanking. At the beginning of the play they wanted to kill the king they were happy to and had no problems. As the play progressed on they started to fill guilty and regretted what they did they had banco killed so he would not say anything because Macbeth thought that he know too much about what happened he had murders kill banco when he was going to a banquet. As the play went on they were felling guiltier and guiltier.

Shortly after this instance of acknowledgment, Macbeth begins to fall to the devastating repercussions of his actions.
Macbeth’s personality as a dynamic character changes throughout the play as opposed to a static character like Lady Macbeth, whose fixed goal is to kill King Duncan. A dynamic character allows Shakespeare to create a tragic hero, since Macbeth is of noble birth, goodwilled and transitions to evil natured and faces his downfall. A change in Lady Macbeth's personality Throughout the first two acts of William Shakespeare’s Macbeth, Lady Macbeth goes through an unexpected change; first, she demonstrates courage and determination to commit King Duncan’s murder, then, after the murder takes place her attitude is no longer of ambition but of fear. Lady Macbeth is seen as if she is the mastermind behind the murder and the one that persuades Macbeth to kill King Duncan, making her an essential character in the play. In the beginning, when Macbeth is hesitant about whether or not to kill Duncan, Lady Macbeth has very manipulative actions. She often teases Macbeth by telling him a real man has courage and determination and he does not.
From honored soldier to murderous tyrant, Macbeth killed his way into power. He was informed of his “destiny” and stopped at nothing to achieve it. He had multiple chances to rethink his actions. He didn 't however, he kept on his march to power leaving only himself to blame. Macbeth is the only one to blame for his actions and ultimately, his death.
Macbeth’s mental condition begins to dwindle as time goes on, starting with the murder of Duncan. At first, Macbeth is seen as a soldier that everyone aspires to be, strong, brave, and compassionate about his duties to the king. In act one scene two, Captain says, “...For brave Macbeth-well he deserves that name-...” This shows that he is a likeable person who has only the objective of serving his king. After meeting with the witches and hearing his prophecy, Macbeth starts to think about what it would be like to be king of Scotland.
This contrast immediately gives the reader an insight into the torment that guilt and regret can cause. There is a clear definition between Lady Macbeth before and after the murder of King Duncan. This character change emphasizes greatly the theme of the impacts upon a person due to the unnatural acts they have performed. In Lady Macbeth’s case the impact was guilt and regret both of which tormented her to point of serious mental illness, insomnia and ultimately a self induced demise. The author 's intention in bringing a once strong and evil character to the mercy of their own morality is to educate readers upon the impacts that guilt could have upon their own life if they were to perform the unnatural just as Lady Macbeth did.
Macbeth is a Shakespearean play about a man called Macbeth who becomes evil in a rise to power. The play has many characters who change throughout, in ways more than one. These changes add layers and meaning to the drama and are shown in many ways. A very important character in this play by William Shakespeare is Macbeth, who starts off as Thane of Glamis, and extremely loyal to King Duncan. This debate between the pity found in Macbeth’s mental state and the fear he evokes through his actions continues as Macbeth becomes a vicious tyrant. Not only does he kill off more of those around him, including the family of MacDuff, all for the sake of proving his power over those around him, but he rains famine and tragedy across the land. Macbeth’s inhumane actions easily draw fear from the audience as it expresses how uncontrollable and deranged, he has become; Macbeth is truly far from the hero first introduced. Extensively Macbeth begins to trust fewer and fewer individuals, he becomes more paranoid about the things going on around him. Specifically he can’t sleep and fears loosing his power.
What seemed like a fearless soldier soon would have his life turned around by his own innocent ambition that furthermore evolved into blinding greed, need for power, and selfishness. This soldier was Macbeth, he didn 't realize the toll this had on his mental health and others. Macbeth had many distinct layers to him that he personally didn 't know he acquired over the course of time. This is what you 'd call a complex character, one who can 't be cognized yet till you fully get to know their mindset and thoughts. Traditionally this would be a great way to describe Macbeth, throughout this book readers slowly started to comprehend his intentions and actions .

Shakespeare has been previously renowned for diverse character development, and the play “Macbeth” is no exception. Personal being, having a sense of belonging, straying from materialism, and overall morality and decency towards others are four main characteristics of a well developed humane character. Throughout the progression of the play Macbeth’s character development is well portrayed as Macbeth’s character is altered after turning points in his life. Macbeth gains a sense of personal being with his morals he tried to live by.
The Tragedy of Macbeth incorporates character development to present William Shakespeare’s motive; throughout the play it allows the audience to see the message the play relays. The play is a tragedy and it specifically shows the tragedy of humans as they self destruct. There is a use of literary devices to create different aspects of each character allowing them to portray different images of themselves that wouldn’t be noticed initially. Compared to how the audience views each character in the beginning of the play, the image develops into something new as different aspects are revealed. The characters and their continuous changes become the essence of the play.
