How Robert Gould Shaw Impacted Me

A character that impacted me the most is Robert Gould Shaw. One of a couple reasons he impacted me the most is by always showing respect to his fellow soldiers which made me feel like I need to become more respectful to my friends and family. Another way Robert Shaw impacted me was Robert's good leadership which made me feel like I should maybe become a better role model to my younger sisters. Robert also impacted me by making me feel to never give up no matter if you're afraid because quitting lasts forever. Robert also made me feel like taking advantage of any good opportunity that comes your way, for example Robert was offered to be a colonel to a regiment of colored soldiers he accepted the role and became a colonel,the regiment was called to 54th. A reason Thomas impacted me the most is by never giving up. Thomas also makes me feel like I need to get more intelligent. Thomas also impacted me by offering other assistance if another person doesn't know or are having trouble doing something. Thomas also impacted me by never giving up, For example he was injured and was told he would return back home he refused and told robert to promise him to not send him back home so he stayed to fight for his freedom and the 54th. Another way thomas impacted me was when trip bullied him by calling him a snowflake and other names but didn't let any of those names bring him down he might not been the strongest guy or the toughest guy in the camp but Thomas had a good heart and passion for what he did which was fighting for the 54th. Thomas' bravery impacted me when he was the one who stepped up and offered to carry the U.S flag after the man who was carrying it was injured or killed in the battle of fort wagner.
