Some people are involved in the Ambulance Corps, Firehouse, Police Department, Youth Court, etc. When we go to certain community service events, cadets might like that event a lot. For example, a cadet might volunteer at the local thrift store and love the atmosphere.
The value of community serves an important
The community service requirements, as well as the capstone project their eighth-grade year, will help cultivate students into school and community leaders. Community Service Community service consists of volunteer work completed by individuals (or an organization) to benefit the community or its institutions. Areas include health care, child care, literacy training, education (including tutorial services), social services, housing and neighborhood improvement, crime prevention, recreation, and community improvement.
It also enables anybody to have that long-lasting and significant impact on society. Providing volunteer services gives me the opportunity to help someone in need while also advancing my life skills and wisdom. As I learn how it teaches me compassion and understanding, I also think it's crucial. This is a pillar that I consider to be of utmost importance.

Its a struggle between all of that for a student to do community service. School is a place for learning, not for giving back to the community. If students want to give back, they can do it on their own time. But they should not be forced to do something
I believe that students should not be required to do community service, by forcing students to do community service it does many things to the students social life and school life. Forcing students to do community service can cause stress towards the students, Students already have a stressful year especially seniors sense they have to submit tests and applications. Adding more to the plate of the students plate will cause them to rush things like school work and other things because community service requires so much time that that the student may not have.
Furthermore, 100 community service hours should be a requirement for high school graduation. Since many teens already have a lot on their plates with homework and extracurricular activities they often put themselves first above helping others. Also, many teens spend their weekends locked up in their rooms or just watching tv all day, they could do something very productive with the time they are wasting. With this in mind, community service not only helps your community but it helps get students out of their houses.
Volunteering should be done intrinsically. Many students find community service so difficult, time consuming, and not enjoyable. Therefore, they tend to only complete the required hours without any essential effort. To call mandatory community service 'volunteering ' is a problem because then we begin to confuse the distinction between an activity that is willingly done and something that is obligatory and perhaps not always rewarding. Volunteering should be something you choose to do because you want to do it, not because somebody made you do it.

Teens aren't going to use things that they learn in high school that they use now and if you do community service now it would stick with you forever and if you see trash on the road or in a park you would know to pick it up and not to leave it on the ground because something could happen and if yoU do not pick it up then a bird could get into it and they could die. Teens Aren't going to use the stuff that they learn now and you need something to stick with you the rest of their life and they're not going to
Community service does not only have a profound impact on our community, but the impact it has on the individual people is even greater. The concept of community service has always been something that I grew up with, and now that I am older I better understand how important community service is for society. I have participated in community service activities. Starting in elementary school, I helped feed the homeless and rescue animals. Even with my wide range of volunteer experience, it was difficult to find an activity that would be meaningful and fulfill my thirty-hour obligation for my senior project.
Community Service is the one activity I would continue to pursue, irrespective of age, life challenges and or economics. Pay-it-forward became my motto, when I conceived of what now is a running NGO, Karuna Charitable Trust (Karuna). Having seen the power of true philanthropy, first-hand, I will continue to help, be it with service, guidance or money, the less advantaged, irrespective of geographical boundaries. When volunteering, people become close to the ones with whom they are volunteering. Volunteering is a great way to meet new people and gain more friends for life. Not only can someone create new bonds when they volunteer, but they can also make the bonds they already have with somebody stronger. The article, "15 Unexpected Benefits of Volunteering That Will Inspire You" states, "Volunteering creates stronger bonds between friends, family, and coworkers. " When volunteering, it gets the volunteer out there and makes them be more social.
