How Should Doctors Receive False Prescriptions?

Companies should not decide what doctors chose. People should always be aware of their choices. Bond between patient and doctor should be something held high as it keeps many alive. Receiving payment from companies doctors leads patients to distrust, who would be at risk at improper prescriptions. Patients need to stand against the injustice and question doctors and companies on all prescriptions. Doctors receiving money to prescribe drugs is dangerous as the companies care far more about their profits, than a patient's medical issues. Companies that mass produce drugs are simply looking to grab the patient's money. Many doctors see through this charade, however many of these big company representatives have been known to actually help prescribe medication. This same representative had little to no background in any kind of medical field. Mistakes like these can lead to mass deaths, especially as it goes unnoticed by the public and causes distrust between patients and doctors. Taking into full consideration what a person doctor has said, is recommended and an accepted practice. However, this practice has been injured by large companies who are behind mislead prescriptions and mistakes. Doctors giving false prescriptions are sickening as, John Oliver points out, they willingly gave people a drug for schizophrenia to people with indications it would help them lose weight, make them more sexual active, and make them happier. The drug was so popular it even earned the nickname, “happy, horny, skinny pill...” People should not be forced into corners with making choices for drugs they should be taking.
