Power is status above other people. If you are in a position with power you should use it not for your own benefit like the Qajar dynasty leaders did. But for benefiting the lives of the people like Mohammed Mossadeq did. The Shahnameh is an epic poem written between 971 to 1010 ce (common era). It tells the mythical and historical past of the Persian Empire. On Iran page ten, question one asks “how should power be used?” According to Shahnameh power should be distributed evenly among all people. The Shahnameh booklet states that Kayumars was the first king in Shahnameh. He taught people how to eat properly. Also how to dress using leopard skins. People were greatly thankful for what Kayumars brings to the table for them. As a result people looked at Kayumanis as their king. They wanted him in that position. Mohammed Mossadeq is involved in many actions that Iran is proud of. Nationalizing the oil and kicking the Shah out of power were his two main accomplishments. The people saw Mossadeq as their leader. They followed him and supported everything he proposed. However, Qajar leaders who were in rule from seventeen ninety four to nineteen twenty one had an expensive taste for themselves. People under the Qajar leaders had a very hard time coping with the greedy habits of the Qajar. Qajar leaders made many concessions for money. Iran has vasts amounts of oil that they could start a industry and get money for it. However the Qajar leaders gave this chance up to a different country just for money. Qajar leaders created a very unstable and corrupt government with their brutally awful habits. As a result many people wanted a leader that would help the everyday lives of them.
