How space weather influences astronaut health and their spatial machines
Almost everyone has thought about living in other planets after watching a science fiction movie or while playing games such as Star Wars, Transformer, and Gun Dam. However, it is impossible for people to live in space or on another planet if challenges that come along with space weather are not adequately addressed. As such, this research examines space weather and how space weather affects astronaut health and what equipment is necessary for travel in space. Further, we discuss whether it is possible to deal with space weather such that it is possible to explore space.
It is common knowledge that the sun influences Earth weather by providing light and heat every

On earth, high-energy particles carried by solar winds rarely reach the surface of the earth and its atmosphere. In the article, [2] the author argues that it is impossible for almost all high-energy particles to reach the Earth's surface due to protection by the Earth's magnetic field. Outside of earth, however, space weather created by the sun has a significant impact on the solar system and other planets, comets, asteroid and space itself. Significantly, space weather can have serious negative effects on an astronaut's health and their spatial equipment. Astronauts, their tools and vehicles such as the space shuttle must deal with high-energy particles, ultraviolet radiation, and solar …show more content…
According to the article [5], NASA tried to launch on January 8, 2014. However, NASA was unable to launch their rockets due to space weather conditions. Specifically, high energetic protons critically damaged computer systems in the launch vehicle on January 7, 2014. This was a serious problem for NASA because the vehicle handled everything necessary to launch rockets. The author also states that the presence of radiation in space has critical effects on electronic devices, ranging from circuit damage to degradation of performance, thereby leading to functional failures of microelectronics. Also, satellites orbiting earth may experience shortened lifetimes, major failures or even complete
