Technology has grown throughout the years, and has improved in a remarkable amount of ways since the early 1970’s which companies such as IBM and Microsoft. In these changes in technology, database and analytics has been on a rising rate since the mid 90’s. Even till the current future databases has been improved due to applications such as Microsoft Access and SQL. Some the major changes has arrived in Cloud, Enterprise Security and Mobile database. One the major changes came in Cloud database, cloud database allows access to clients through cloud which is stored and delivered via the internet. There has been a recorded 30,000 reports of database breaches since the start of 2005 (“World’s Biggest Data Braches”, 2015). Due to these increase breaches this has led security to be one the highest paying and most desired careers. Database that are breached can lead to a company’s losing tons of customers and profit in the business, in addition, this can lead distrust with customers as well due to losing information such as credit cards numbers and social security numbers. Database security range in protecting the database from Malware infections, unauthorized access to the database, DDOS attacks, or data corruptions. Many of the organizations make their own “back doors” into their own databases in cause of breaches. These back doors allow the user to reach their database in because they are not able to accept the database due to hackers blocking their access. Another way organization help protect their servers is watching who is accessing their servers. Most database need a password and user name to be allowed to the information in the database. If a user try to force his/her self into the server by enter multiple passwords and users name the user will be blocked and not allowed to access the database.
