One difference between the hunger games and The Goonies is that Kattniss's challenges are based on life-threatening things like starvation and being stung by venomous bugs, but in The Goonies it is more just them being scared for example the bats did not hurt anyone. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins is a story about Katniss Everdeen who lives in district 12 with her mom and her sister Prim. Her sister gets picked for the Hunger Games which is where each of the 12 districts have to give a boy and a girl from the ages of 12-18 do fight till the death until there is one person standing. This is because there was an outbreak against the capitals thats why there is the Hunger Games. Katniss volunteers do her sister and now has to try and win the games. One theme in this story that is shown is that family love can go along way, this is shown because she is very overprotective of Prim.
