In my We The People class I am asked to really look at the person who is the most influential in my life. We are looking at what it looks like to be a good active citizen of the United States. When I think of a genuine American citizen that possesses active civic virtue, you are the first thought to come to mind. You display the most amount of courage out of everyone I know. You came to America with not much but a dream. You were able to follow your dream and succeed when life didn’t give you anything you had to earn it. You became an amazing businessman and athlete. You never had a can’t button and were able to make it to the olympics. I can’t imagine how you were able to run a business and train at the same time. You saved the sheriff when he fell in the lake. You would always risk yourself for others. People always seem to honor you by showing high regard towards your actions. You can do anything you want and people admire that. The respect I have seen being with you is amazing. You hold high status in the malls you owned stores in and know many well known people as well. The amount of respect I have towards you is astounding. You seemed like a superhero to me with no fears at all.
Having you as a grandfather has been one of the greatest privileges I have ever had. You show the ideals of an ideal citizen. You are a product of the American dream, and I couldn’t be happier to know you let alone be your grandson. I am very grateful for the lessons you have taught me in life how you influence me to be a better person. If there is anyone on this earth that I know believes in me the most it is you. You’re wisdom has caused me to aspire to greater things in
