For my declamation lines I chose lines 21-45 from The Odyssey by Homer, translated by Emily Wilson. In these lines, Telemachus is talking with his mentor and asking for advice on how to make a speech. Athena, disguised as his mentor, says that it will play out just fine and you will pave your own path. Then Pallas led him to the center of the town.
