Everyone knows that the age of 21 hasn’t stopped anyone from drinking. Some professionals believe it’s indeed contributing to extreme drinking. Lowering the age to 18, may seem kinda counterintuitive. I have some key points for my argument. For the record, I’m not a college student who drinks every night and just doesn’t want to get in trouble. The lowering of drinking age from 21 to 18 is something society must take a closer look at. Leaving the law as it is now, can create more deaths, increase excessive drinking, binge drinking, and alcohol abuse. Tennagers find ways to get around the 21 year old limit. Lowering the drinking age can make young adults safer, it can help the economy and make it approachable to regulate. People not of age will drink, enforcing it is nonsense we must contain it to decrease the problems it brings
In many groups around the world drinking alcohol daily is almost no problem. For example; Italians, Jews, Portuguese, Spaniards, French, and Greeks.
