This new chemical testing really should put an end to testing on the animals, that way this procedure, of finding cures for us, won’t be harmful to anyone or anything. Kristie Sullivan. M.P.H.. and Sarah Cavanauah, Ph.D. states that; “A study published in Environmental Health Perspectives describes a new chemical testing method using high-throughput screening— which uses robotics to quickly test many chemicals— that is an improvement over certain animal tests for chemical safety, as animals do not reflect human responses or human population variability. The new testing method more effectively characterizes how different individuals respond to chemical exposures, highlighting potentially sensitive individuals or populations that may require stricter controls on chemical use. Differences between humans due to genetic variation, health status, and environmental factors can greatly influence potential responses to chemical exposures.” This new technique is a better and safer way to discover cures and medicines for us, rather than using animals and them having to suffer and the finish product not even being reliable to use on humans. I, myself don’t think animals deserve to be taken into testing for our will. We need to take our problems into our own hands and not rely and use animals to do it for
