Recently I have read a book named To Kill a Mockingbird. When I first began reading this book I thought was going to be terribly boring. In the beginning I was actually right, the book was very boring and dull, but towards the middle of the book the story took a turn and became very interesting. The book to Kill a Mockingbird is a story about a white family, that takes place in Alabama. The story is told through Jean Louise Finch, aka scout, who allows us to see what growing up with racism was like on the other side. The people in court even realized that the Ewells were lying, but acquitting a black man was like giving power to the black community. What I disliked most about to kill a mockingbird was about how Tom went out. I thought there could've been a better way to end Tom's life. Possibly in a more peaceful manner, but I understand that it was done to emphasize the racism that was shown to blacks at that time and especially
