Now that I have graduated I fall under that cliche of people saying “it went by way too fast.” Funny enough I remember thinking in freshman year about how much time I had left yet here I am four years later. With College now behind me I have to start pursuing a career. Preferably I can land a job somewhere that will lead to working in Investigative services or some kind of Forensics. I have to thank Marquette for all that it taught me in my time there. It taught me to help better be on my own and develop a better sense of independence. It gave me the opportunity to take classes that will help me achieve a career I can be proud of. The next steps for me is to start throwing my name in the ring for different jobs and internships to get some good …show more content…

This year I did a capstone class for my major that is required by all students in Criminology. Over the years I have worked with many professors but one that really stood out was my Freshman year Intro to Criminology professor, Professor Wheelock, because he helped show me just how interesting this subject matter is and that it is what I want to do for the rest of my life. Most if not all of the professors that I met over my four years were as a result of taking their class. We would open every single pack on a saturday night. I always made sure to stay on top of my work in order to make time for my friends at night and on the weekends. For fun I was either playing magic or hanging out watching movies because not much is better than sitting down to watch a good movie (especially Jaws, it’s the best movie of all time). I would do this to de-stress after a big assignment or after I was done working in order to clear my head and distract myself for a few hours. One of my favorite shows over the course of school was Game of Thrones because every sunday my friends would sit down and watch the newest episode without fail. I also made a point to try and watch the Jets every sunday but often I would stop watching because they are garbage or I couldn't find the game seeing as how it usually is not the local game. Some things that really stood out was playing intramural sports because they were always a way for my friends and I to get out and be
