We need your help to put a stop to this nonsense and not shop ADOPT! What happens in a kill shelter? Not all animal shelters are the same. some animal shelters are staffed by caring people. But many animals who are refused by turn-away shelters, are dumped on the road, in the woods, in the yard of some person's house. Some don’t even last a full day! In June 2005, a man who tried to give his dog to a no-kill shelter was told that he would have to make an appointment to return two weeks later when the they might have room. The man grabbed his dog, got in his pickup truck, and left. Later after he took the dog, he threw it out of the truck and ran it over, crushing the dog underneath him.
