Trafficking of women and children for sexual exploitation is a highly attractive business for those who organize it. Human trafficking is harmful to the millions of women and children exploited in slavery-like conditions in the global sex industry. It is a modernised form of age old slave trade. It is a serious violation of human rights and one of the fastest growing organized crimes of the day transcending culture, geography and time.
