Alex Rider is put on the toughest mission of his life yet. He is trapped in a slave house and he is almost killed 3 times. What would you do if you were in Alex Rider's position.
In this journal I will be characterizing, evaluating and questioning. Alex Rider Skeleton key started off with an exhilarating start. It starts off with two men Marc, Carlo and an unnamed pilot. They went flying to meet with General Alexei Sarov in Cayo Esqueleto which is spanish for skeleton key. It is a stately island by right next to Cuba to exchange a kilogram of uranium. Do to a supply problem the price has risen by 500,000 dollars. Sarov pays the men some of the money, Sarov says he will give the rest of the money to a salesman. The two men threatened to call the American Intelligence if the rest of the money is not received in three days. Sarov then taking it as a threat runs away and traps the two men in a swamp get nearly eaten by crocodiles. As that is happening Sarov loads the uranium into a jeep and then leaves. M16 wants to keep Alex from knowing any information they do not want him involved with this mission. First I thought that Alex would not be trapped in the slave house I predicted that he would escape. “Alex Rider you will never escape this house until after war.” (Horowitz 246) I thought that because Alex is very intelligent and always finds a way to escape no matter what. Next I predicted that Alex would defuse the bomb at one point. I thought that because since he will escape he will call for help now that he knows better. He will call for help and they will all help defuse the bomb. Lastly, I predicted that Alex would end up killing Sarov but he did not and my prediction was wrong. Sarov ended up committing suicide so Alex did not kill him. Those were some of my predictions in Alex Rider Skeleton
