Reflective Essay: My Definition Of Success

How would one person describe success? The way I see success is that it is not measured by the amount of times you succeed, yet how many times you fail. When it comes to my education I know I need to drive forward in order to succeed. There has been over a dozen times that I have failed at the goals I made for myself. Failing at these goals make me want to strive harder towards the latter. Knowing that I have failed makes me become more engaged and determined to accomplish these goals of making better grades this semester. On the contrary, I also know that there would be plenty of stepping stones with mountains to climb to get to these goals. So, analyzing all these mountains I would have to climb I can, see that there would be many hurdles to obtaining the success I strive for this semester. The obstacles that would prevent me from acquiring success this semester is poor time-management, lack of studying, and misguided priorities. Since high school, I have always had the struggle of managing my time wisely. In some ways that has followed me straight to college which has never had a positive outcome. All of these obstacles show how I can lose my success towards this semester. These obstacles would make it quite difficult to make any accomplishments with my goals of being a better college student. It shows how I see myself finding it quite difficult to achieve any success if I continue or see myself continuing in these bad habits. These bad habits make it hard to obtain any forms of goals. I know I must create a schedule and time my days out accordingly. I need to make time at night towards studying and making better grades. Also, to make sure my priorities never stray from my education and family. Therefore, these obstacles can be avoided by pointing out my faults and analyzing how to fix
