Huckleberry Finn Character Analysis

There is a larger variety of characters in The Adventures Of Huckleberry Finn. It ranges from simple country boys, Jesus preaching women, even to scheming robbers. With such an assortment of characters, comes an abundance of personalities. Some characters are sneaky and conniving, while others are innocent and trusting. I would describe myself as kind-hearted, hardworking, and caring of my family. I could relate to multiple characters, but I believe I am like Jim the most. Jim proves he is kind-hearted multiple times in the book. The most significant moment is when he tells Huck about his daughter. He had told his daughter to close the door, and she didn’t listen. He told her again, and she just smiled. He beat her for not listening, but then he realized that she was deaf. He felt horrible and wanted so badly to correct his actions. He is kind-hearted because he had compassion for her and was sympathetic towards her. He never wanted to actually hurt her, just teach her a lesson. I feel as I relate to Jim in this moment, because I care for other people’s feelings, and I feel bad when other people are hurting. He helped Huck build the raft, and fixed it every time something went wrong. He went along with Tom’s plan in the end, and worked hard to follow it. At the end, he was determined to find a doctor to help Tom when he was shot. Not only is he hardworking, but he works to help others. That is another trait that we have in common. I work hard to be there for my friends and family when they need me. I am determined to be the best big sister I can be for my little brother. I try my best to always show that I am a child of God, and work constantly to grow my faith. We both face, what seems to be, impossible tasks, but we do the best we can for ourselves and
