Huckleberry Finn Compare And Contrast Essay

In this essay I am going to compare and contrast Huck and myself. Huck is the main character in the book “Huckleberry Finn adventures”. He has a lot in common with me but I think I do a lot more than he does. He is a really good character that I can use because we have tons of similarities. Let’s see what we have and don’t have in common.

Huck does sports like fishing, I also fish but not as much as him. He also goes shooting just like I do but, Huck kills big game like wild pigs I only get quails. He even camps just like me but way longer than I do. I also believe in bad luck just like Huck. I also go to school which Huck did.

Huck doesn’t like to dress up in nice clothes but I do. I have an easy life and he doesn’t. He is running away from people all the time and I never do. He is always concerned about doing something that is right because it could be wrong or doing something wrong because it could be right while I am not. He also smokes and drinks while I don’t.

I am even going to finish school and Huck just got pulled out by pap. Pap is his dad and he is mean but not my dad. His dad wants him to drop out of school because he is the first in his family to get an education while my dad wants me to be better in school so I can go to college and get a good job and a wonderful home. Huck also had to dress like a girl just to get information about something while I just go up and ask. He steals stuff from almost everyone he can but I don’t steal even when it’s necessary to. Huck doesn’t really care about anyone other than Jim because they are both running away trying to escape and have their freedom in life while I care for everyone I know and I am not running away just to gain my freedom. Huck is mostly a trouble maker in everything he gets into he steals, curses, talks back, and sneaks out of the house at night while I do what I’m told, don’t curse, and I don’t
