Mark Twain’s books had not only a change in literature but he also added a lot of humor and exaggeration, One of the most significant parts Mark Twain added was racist, racism jokes, this made people all around upset but it does symbolize a huge part of American history and literature.In the article Main Characteristics of American Literature by Luka Malgaj, says, “American humor tends to be exaggerated rather than be subtle” ( Malgaj )Many writers feel that they need to add something humorous in some parts of the story just to get grasp of the readers attention and make them read more.
