Hugh Glass was not very known to some people he was also an American frontiersman and fur trapper. Born in 1783 and died at the year of 1833. Hugh was known for surviving a bear attack and being about badly injured. Hugh had”reportedly had a broken leg, a ripped scalp, a punchered throat, and numerous injuries”. When he regained enough strength he began to walk to safety which was 200-300 miles away. He got to safety and told about what had happened and became a folk hero. How Hugh was remembered and know for what he had been through those harsh times. Some reasons why Hugh was known as remembered are the bear that attacked him and surviving.
