Hunger Games: Catching Fire By: Suzanne Collins This is the second book of the Hunger Games, one of the three book series, was one of the most action packed books. This book had a lot of plot twists and was very interesting.This book takes place in the arena at which the games are being held in. The arena is somewhat like an island. The center of the arena is surrounded by water. It also takes place in District 12 in the beginning of the book. In the beginning of the book Katniss and Peeta lived in the victor’s village. When Katniss told Peeta that she was only acting in the first Hunger Games he was quite upset. When they heard about the Quarter Quell they both wanted to protect each other once again. Due to Katniss being the only female victor from District 12, she will be battling again. In the Quarter Quell Katniss and Peeta created allies with people from other districts to keep themselves alive. Little did they know, there would be an unexpected ending to the Quarter Quell. Close to the ending of the book Katniss, Peeta, and the other allies created a plan to electrocute the arena to kill the other enemies. During this process Katniss had an idea of her own, to shoot the electricity towards the forcefield. This created the whole arena to fall apart. After the arrow hit the forcefield an aircraft was sent for Katniss and the others, but it wasn’t a Capital aircraft. It was district 13’s aircraft. District 13 was expected to be uninhabited, but it was not longer. People who want to rebel against the capital have been moving towards district 13. Katniss had no idea of this plan, until she was taken from the arena by them. They took Katniss and Finnick from the arena, but they weren’t able to grab Peeta. This really upset Katniss because she knew what the Capital had the power to do to Peeta. District 13 wanted Katniss to
