Huntsman is an American-based manufacturer of differentiated chemical products for a variety of global business. Huntsman manufacture differentiated polyurethanes, performance products, and Advance Materials, Textile. Huntsman’s headquarter is in the Woodlands, and operate more than 100 manufacturing, R&D, and operations facilities in over 30 countries. On August 8, 2017, Huntsman strategically spun off pigments and additives business as an independent public holding company, named Venator Materials Corporation. Huntsman’s business division can be divided into 5 parts. The products they produced are all chemicals related, but each of the divisions has their own focus. First is the Polyurethanes division. Huntsman is a leader in manufacturing MDI-based polyurethanes, which applied to produce energy-saving insulation, comfort foam for automotive seating, bedding and furniture, adhesive, coating, elastomers for footwear, composite wood products, construction products, fuel additives and specialized engineering applications. Huntsman provides solutions from pretreatment, coloration, printing to finishing in the wet processing of textiles, and a diverse portfolio of textile chemicals, dyes and digital inks. The solutions provide color to enhance fashion, effect of durability, functionality of finished textiles such as wrinkle resistance, longer lasting fabrics and faster drying properties and the ability to repel water and stains in apparel, home or technical textiles. Huntsman customers include consumer fashion apparel, sportswear, career and uniform apparel, military, automotive, home and institutional textiles and furnishings, carpet and other functional textiles.
