I want to be involved in a career that allows me to use my talents and skills, as well as room to grow and mature. As a HVACR Technician, I can associate my talents and my career together. This paper will explore the job description, requirements, and salary expectations for a HVACR Technician.
First, the job description for a HVACR Technician includes many parts. To begin, the general duties include several aspects. For example, the OCO Handbook shares that technicians use blueprints or design specifications to install or repair HVACR systems, inspect send maintain customers’ HVACR systems, and repair or replace worn or defective components. The technicians must understand the basic physics of how air conditioners and heaters operate. They also have to know how to integrate them into commercial and residential applications. Next, there are the working hours to consider. To illustrate, the OCO Handbook points out that while HVAC technicians do work full time, they often work overtime or irregular hours from time to time. Becoming a HVACR technician is something I would very much like to do. I know that I have the skills and passion to do whatever it takes to get to where I want to be in the future. A few reasons why I think this career is right for me is that I love to troubleshoot and solve problems. I also love working with my hands and being active.
