Hypoallergenic Dog Informative Speech

Every year my parents ask me, “What do you want for your birthday?” or “What do you want for Christmas?” Every year I answer with the same response, “A puppy.” And guess what I don’t get! A puppy.
I’ve only ever had one type of pet and that is a boring old goldfish that I won at the Williams County Fair. Unfortunately, my goldfish died last year. The reason why my only pet has ever been a fish is because my dad is allergic to cats and dogs. Therefore, if we were to get a dog it would have to be hypoallergenic. For those of you who don’t know what a hypoallergenic dog is, it is a dog that has hair instead of fur and doesn’t shed. Another reason why we don’t have a dog is because my mom grew up with two cats and has never had a dog. Therefore, she isn’t sure how to take care of a dog and is not sure she is comfortable having a dog. Additionally, the last reason why we don’t have a dog is because my family is very busy and we aren’t sure if we would be home enough to care for the dog properly. The hypoallergenic dogs that we have looked at are Aussiedoodle, Mini Goldendoodle, and Wheaten Terrier. An Aussiedoodle is a combination of an Australian Shepherd and a Poodle. The Goldendoodle is a mixture of a Golden Retriever and a Miniature Poodle. Basically, any type of dog crossed with a poodle will make the puppies hypoallergenic because poodles have hair, not fur. The last dog we researched was a Wheaten Terrier and that is a purebred dog. A purebred dog is one where both parents are the same breed. Furthermore, our favorite dog out of the three was an Aussiedoodle. This is because they are super adorable and they come in lots of different colors and sizes. They are supposed to be really smart and friendly, which is the type of dog I would like. But honestly, at this point, I would take any dog out there. My desire for a cute little puppy is
