I would like to start by saying how proud I am to be the CEO of this microchip production company. Our founders started this company in 1980, built on of trust, ethical behavior and a belief that technology will lead us into the future. As technology has grown and is being used by everything from cars to computers the need for our microchips has grown. With the advent of this technology we have started to compete heavily with other companies here in the United States and in foreign countries. Which leads me to the true nature of this memo. As you might have heard over the last six months myself and several committees have taken a hard look at how we do business from manufacturing the computer chip to final delivery. During an interview he was asked what qualities he admired in people and in business, his answer to both was integrity (I Am American Business: Herb Kelleher, 2012). They created a work environment that empowered people, was energetic and fun loving. They visibly displayed their humanistic philosophy and focus on people. They orientated their mission statement as to how the want to treat both their internal and external customers it makes it both meaningful and eternal (W., 2016). By doing this Herb Keller, created an environment were people wanted to work and believed in the company’s mission statement. Mr. Keller arrived at an interview and gave the interviewer a hug "Great to see you again!" We had never met before. But who cared! I knew it was just Herb's way of making me feel welcome...You can see how he makes it easier for people to have fun at work, just by example” (I Am American Business: Herb Kelleher, 2012).
