The title of the autobiography I read was I Got This To Gold and Beyond. It was written by Laurie Hernandez. The copyright date is 2017. Starting with her first ever kartwheel, to progressing her skills from level to level, to overcoming two very severe injuries, to eventually making it to the Olympics.The last significant event is when Laurie and her teammates were touring the wold , they got to meet the President of the United states of America. It was a emotionale event for Lauries teammates but also very exciting too.When there touring came to a end thats when Laurie really relized how special it was to meet the President cause not only was she a Big fan of him , but he was a big fan of her. Laruie and her teammates had a special bond. They would cheer each other on no matter what. Laurie contributed to her team by helping them win medals, training all day every day to help them win meets which eventually lead them to the Olympics, all while being the best that she could be. Laruie’s highlights were winning silver on the beam at the 2016 Olympics and helping her team go on to win gold overall in the Olympics. She also was champion of Dancing With the stars in 2016 , she was the youngest contestant to ever win. Some of Laurie’s characteristics are that she is a thoughtful and a driven person.
