I have a dream is a public speech delivered by American civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr. Which was released during the march on Washington D.C which talked about job and freedom on August 28, 1963. His speech called for the end of racism in the United States. Through his speech he educated, inspired and informed not just his people but also the people throughout America and the future generations. The speech was a very successful speech during the Kennedy administration. President Kennedy watched King’s speech on television and ended up very impressed by his profound words. After the speech and march, Martin Luther King Jr. was named Man of the Year in 1963 to 1964. He was the youngest person ever to win the Nobel Peace Prize.
