Martin Luther King Jr. is an effective persuasive speaker. In King’s speech “I Have A Dream” there are many persuasive techniques. Persuasive techniques are used to persuade the reader to agree with the author. Some examples of persuasive techniques are the bandwagon technique, a testimonial, an appeal to pity, loaded language, and an ethical appeal.
