It was many of Martin Luther King Jr.’s dreams before that all led up to this one. Who knew this specific dream and most famous speech of King’s could make an impact on so many people? Martin Luther King Jr. was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Growing up was tough for Dr. King, from getting whipped by his own father until he was fifteen, to getting harassed verbally and mentally by offended whites. But without all of that he wouldn’t be where he was in 1963. (Wikipedia; Early life and education). To this day Dr. King is known as an inspiration and a hero to all mankind. In the following three paragraphs, they will contain “How it began with a dream” and details to back up how “it” did.

Many people have heard of Dr. King’s most famous speech, but did they really take the time and make an effort to realize what he was really saying? In the speech “I Have A Dream” Dr. King says, “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” (Martin Luther King Jr.) But what exactly is he saying?
