Josie Rourke’s modern stage adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing is renowned for the hilarious reunion of the Doctor Who costars: David Tennant and Catherine Tate, whose chemistry is mesmerizingly brilliant and inevitable from the moment the two step on the stage. As said by the Guardian: “Tennant and Tate sparkle in Much Ado,” it is this sort of partnership that really enraptures an audience, the choice of pairing being one of the main highlights of the exceptional replication of the 16th century classic. The play centers Beatrice (Tate) and Benedick (Tennant), the disputatious lovers, who hold a reputation for being unapparent to the love that they clearly share for each other, going along with repartee, oblivious to the
Both images lead to the next two lines where the speaker acknowledges the game of love as “grievous” and untrustworthy. He is no longer new to the “game” (line 11), and he has learned from the experience. The imagery is important because it creates verisimilitude which connects the speaker and his readers, producing a sympathetic relationship between

Also, the man versus self conflicts Another conflict in the story is man versus society: Greg versus ethnocentrism of his high school. MIP Rough Draft The play “Hamlet” by William Shakespeare and the book, “The Handmaids Tale” by Margaret Atwood, both create a fall of power in society and this loss of leadership opens the door for corruption to take over. Both authors have created this instability in society and use the motifs: loss of power, religion, and relationships to explore characters’ innermost selves. This exploration of characters proves that one will submit to anything in order to obtain stability in a corrupt environment. Both Shakespeare and Margaret Atwood immediately pull the rug out beneath from the characters in their work, creating instability not only in the character’s mind but in the reader’s mind as well.
This type of conflict, is primarily represented in “A Tell Tale Heart”. As the narrator pleads his sanity and over-acuteness of his senses, he seems to have a battle in his own brain constantly lying to himself, with the purpose of faking himself out to try and avoid the inevitable. However, Chbosky tackles these subjects in an unapologetically honest way through the unique perspective of the sheltered main character. Most of the debates have centered around the novel’s theme of sex. The most disputed scene is the two pages where Charlie witnesses date rape at his brother’s party. He describes in detail the events that took place, and how he didn’t fully understand at first that he was witnessing rape because of how normal it seemed. This all furthers Chbosky’s message that rape doesn’t always happen in a dark alley with a hooded figure like it does in the movies, that sometimes it can happen between people who appear to be in love.
The main conflict is person vs person. The priests and teachers at the school did not let Charlie have freedom, because of that Charlie went against the rules. He risked his life to do what he enjoys. Eventually he died doing what we finally wanted to do, go outside.
