I choosed the book because the brief introduction on the back, which at first line, in bold,“Leslie made the choice to take her own life(fourth cover).” This makes me wonder why she choose to leave the world, and leave everything as it is. As in to the book, I realize that bully can change people’s life. Not only the person who is being bully, and the people who are bully someone. In the book I swear by Lane Davis, Leslie Gatlin’s life had changed completely because of cyber bullying. The story starts with Leslie Gatlin, who tries to leave her house and finally decide to die. The arrangement that describe her first makes the reader feels sympathy of her, because most of the time reader assume the first person they see as the main character. Also as described in the novel, Leslie tells herself, “You finally did it. You finally lost the last friend you’ll ever have(1)”. After Leslie died, the story turns to Beth, one of the people who bullied Leslie. I like some parts of Beth, because she is like most of people, who is push by other factors and did not think or can not change before she make decision. In the story, because she afraid of Macie, who want to start bad rumors about Lelise, she choose to bully Leslie with Macie. Even though she knows this is not right. When Beth found out Leslie takes her own life, she start to cry and scared of the consequence, “‘This isn’t a secret, Jillian. It’s all over Facebook (33).” She is afraid because she leave many evidences about bully Leslie. But she did not do anything about it, also she did not regret of her decision. I understand her, but I don’t agree with her on her choice. From this, I learned that of I want to something, I should conform with myself about the consequences, and then ask myself should I do it or
