I am a driven individual, passionate about political change and problem-solving. I have hands-on experience in many different roles and a breadth of degree level knowledge which will help make me the perfect candidate for the scheme. I am keen to learn, work hard and want to apply my research and analytical skills in a challenging environment. The House of Commons is the ideal environment for me to apply said skills. Thus, this opportunity will enhance the skills I have learnt throughout my degree, honing my professional capabilities. I believe I will be an asset to the House of Commons as a Select Committee Inquiry Manager because of my passion for British politics and practical knowledge of the job role. This passion has helped me keep up to date with developments in British politics and the major inquiry cases. Whilst my practical knowledge has developed from reaching out to various employees already within government to gain a better understanding of what it takes to work in the House of Commons. I had work experience within the House of Commons which meant I was able to connect to various members and gain firsthand knowledge of how the British Politics works. My degree will help me settle into the Inquiry Manager Role as research and analysis were integral to the success I had at degree level. I will enjoy researching areas of interest and consulting experts to build a basis of knowledge and assist with inquiry cases. Working on my dissertation has prepared me for this responsibility, researching unknown areas and developing a thesis is an important skill I can apply to this
