I Want To Pursue An MBA Degree At Texas A & M University

I have decided to earn my Master's in Business Administration from the College of Business at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi. This decision was made entirely on my desire to take the next step in my life, and achieve more for myself.

With an MBA degree I will be able to have a deeper understanding of my passion, which is business. I have a passion to lead, overcome obstacles, and succeed where doubt was placed.

Looking back, I can honestly say that I never tried near as hard as I could have, and succeeded only to the point of meeting expectations. Earning my MBA would give me the confidence I need to pursue my dreams of becoming an Human Resources Manager, or VP of Human Resources. I have earned my PHR credentials, and I plan to continue to stay active in the Human Resources field. I have attended seminars, web conferences, and have become a member of the Society of Human Resources Management organization. I have also been a member of the local Human Resources chapter; The Coastal Bend Society of Human Resource Management. I served on the Corpus Christi Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as an Ambassador, and I will continue to do so.

I know I have a great potential hiding underneath, and I want to show it. I want to excel in everything I do now. I want to make a name for myself, and become a leader not just in an organization, but in the community. I want to extend a hand to local charities, and devote my time and energy helping people. I want to volunteer at my local church, and give more of myself to my church and fundraisers for the needy and less fortunate. I want to be able to donate to Texas A&M Corpus Christi, and support the school that has given me so much. I want to look back years from now, and see growth in the University.
