The Golden Rule? In response to recent belief-based terrorism, the conservative Southern States finally removed Confederate flags, that symbolize white supremacy, slavery and seceding from the United States. A white man acted on his Confederate beliefs and shot and killed 9 African Americans in a Bible study. Other supporters of the Confederate flag burned a half-dozen African American churches.

Isis was another goddess that the ancient Egyptians believed in. She was the patron of health, marriage, magic, commoners, nature, and wisdom to the ancient Egyptians. Her affiliation with these aspects of life, especially magic and health, made Isis pivotal to the ancient Egyptian religion and the ancient Egyptian culture. Isis is described as a woman who adorns a headdress shaped like a throne who holds a Ankh in her hand. An Ankh is an object which resembles a cross but having a loop at the top.
Thanks to history we see war is not limited to killing. Instead, war is a multi-packed good or evil struggle each with its own purposeful initiation and ending. Conquering poverty, illiteracy, HIV-AIDS, wasting profitable time, crimes, and armed conflict between nations or factions could exemplify what war envelops. The language of war, as states by Khalid Sheik Mohammad is, however, generalize or viewed as killing. The nature of the war addressed in Mohammad 's one lengthy article is also taken as a specific social conflict based on religious confrontation.
The progress of any country depends on how its system works. In Egypt, different leaders roled for different times. Each leader has his own achievement and accomplishments. In the Ethical Life, by Russ Shafer-Landau, chapters written by Michael Walzer and Alan Dershowitz express their knowledge and opinions on the topics of terrorism and torture. Is it possible to justify and defend such acts? In the chapter “Terrorism: A Critique of Excuses”, author Michael Walzer shuts down four excuses that attempt to justify terrorism. In the chapter, “Should the Ticking Bomb Terrorist Be Tortured?”, Alan Dershowitz defends his theory that it is necessary to torture a terrorist if that means saving the lives of innocent people while protecting their civil liberties and human rights at the same time. Terrorism can never be moral because it violates all “excuses” and torture is an acceptable tactic to save lives.

In ancient Egyptian civilisation, religion was heavily embedded in ritualistic performances. There have been numerous amounts of archaeological discoveries that suggest, the ordinary life of an ancient Egyptian was in parallel of a belief, that there was a life after death they should thrive for. Isis and Osiris originated as a myth and although there is no exact timeline where we can pin point its beginning, there have been some fragments of the tale written in the Pyramid of Teti and walls of burial tombs which date back sometime around the Old Kingdom of Egypt (Dynasties III- VI) circa 2778-2300 B.C. It revisits once again around the Middle Kingdom (Dynasties XI-XIII) circa 2065-1785 B.C., in the Ramesseum Dramatic Papyrus (Egyptian Passion
The Islamic religion began in 610 AD. It is one of the first religions to believe in one god, also known as a monotheistic religion. The prophet Muhammad was called upon by god. The Angel Gabriel came to him bearing a message from Allah; the message read was, “There is one god Allah, and Muhammad is his prophet” (Section 1 The rise of Islam student notes). In Mecca, Muhammad 's town, this was not a popular idea because their religion persisted of multiple gods, also known as a polytheistic religion.
While the US was dealing with other situations in the world, such as the Iran-Contra situation, Hezbollah was born and growing into the serious threat they are today.
