IT 210, business systems analysis and design, has been a great learning experience and surprisingly interesting. Coming into this course I did not know what to expect or had any prior knowledge, but all that worrying was for nothing, because this class is so interesting and with all the resources and information provided it was not as challenging as I thought it would be. Over the past weeks, I have been able to meet my goal of coming out of this course fulfilling all the course outcomes. I have been able to apply appropriate tools and techniques in documenting users’ information technology requirements for conducting business activities on the World Wide Web. Finally, I have been able to craft audience-appropriate messages that effectively communicate information technology needs and solutions for supporting business decision-making. This course has allowed me to understand the uses and roles of information systems in business organizations. I will be able to take away all the tips and tricks learned within this class and use it towards my education, as well as my future career. My main takeaway of this course will definitely be security in general. Even though I do not use my phone or computer often, I never even thought about the chances of being hacked or having all my information being stolen. I will use this in my personal and professional life. I want to be able to protect myself, as well as my future customers. I will make sure to have the proper security and make sure my company and even my personal electronics have the proper security and updates to prevent the chances of my information being stolen or used.
